Can I use Slate-Lite with fireplaces?

Yes, Slate-Lite can also be used in the fireplace area.

Slate-Lite is heat-resistant up to 120°C / 248°F and has achieved EU class Cfl-s1 (according to EN 13501-01 for floor coverings) or B1 (according to DIN 4102).
On request, our stone veneers are also available in a special composition as EU class Cs3d0.

Our standard adhesives for Slate-Lite are temperature-resistant up to 90°C / 194°F, which is sufficient for most applications around the fireplace.
